[ SOLVED ] iCloud and MobileMe Email Not Working on Older iOS

Tested on an iPhone 3G and 1st Generation iPhone both running iOS 3.1.3

Technically I see no reason how this wouldn't work across all iOS software versions and devices but let me know your experiences if anything is wrong.

Without a boring bunch of blah blah crap here is how to get iCloud email and access to your iCloud Notes via email working on ALL older iOS devices under your Mail Setting. (as of Late May 2012)

SETTINGS > MAIL,CONTACTS,CALENDARS > ADD ACCOUNT... > OTHER > ADD MAIL ACCOUNT >

NAME: (Type Your Name)
ADDRESS: your-email-address@ME.COM
PASSWORD: (Your Apple ID Password)
DESCRIPTION: (Description to display in Mail)

>touch [ SAVE ] in the top right corner

>IMAP (Should be highlighted in blue by default)

INCOMING MAIL SERVER

HOST NAME: p03-imap.mail.me.com:993
USER NAME:  your-email-address (Do not enter "@ME.COM")
PASSWORD:  (Your Apple ID Password should already be entered)

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER

HOST NAME: p03-smtp.mail.me.com:587
USER NAME: your-email-address (Do not enter "@ME.COM")
PASSWORD:  (Your Apple ID Password should already be entered)

>touch [ SAVE ] or [ NEXT ] in the top right corner and as long as your password is entered correctly everything will verify with a checkmark beside it.

NOTES: Had to remove ":587" when adding the account in iOS 4.1
